Walk Planning Team Meeting - 10/11 6pm

“Through your past experience, you are probably aware that the Juvenile Research Foundation is the largest charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research in the world. More than 1.5 million people are diagnosed each year and because of the devastating nature of the disease, the JDRF is driven to find a cure for diabetes.

The annual Walks are a signature event for JDRF and the largest fundraiser for the Maryland Chapter. In order to begin planning for the 2008 JDRF Baltimore Walk for the Cure we are scheduling a Walk Planning Team meeting on Thursday, 10/11/07 at 6 pm. We are hoping that you can join us at this important meeting. It will be held in the conference room at the JDRF offices located in the old Shell building at 200 East Joppa Road, Suite 105, Towson, MD 21286 – the building is next door to the restaurant, Bahama Mamas. Please park in the back lot and enter through the rear entrance of the building.

If you have a friend or co-worker who is interested in making a difference, please bring them with you. We are very excited about this year’s walk at Camden Yards and are anticipating a record-breaking event! If you can join us on October 11th, please rsvp via return email or to Danielle Lemieux at the JDRF office (dlemieux@jdrf.org).

Thank you for everything you do for diabetes and I look forward to seeing you on the 11th.
